After years of our generous young generations which have Uğur Uçar, Arda Turan, Sabri Sarıoğlu and etc., there is a long waiting for talented youngsters who own capacity to play for Galatasaray. We’re still expecting that new ones will be brought to play for first-team.
Whatever, within absence of our greatest striker Milan Baros, our coach Frank Rijkaard has plans for backing up him place with a young player. Needless to say, Kewell has more functionalities for our tactical approach rather than being a central forward on the pitch. Also Nonda is such a slow player to challenge with opponent’s defence. So none of them can replace Baros’s defence-piercing-forward player role.
It seems, the first candidate to take this place is Anil Dilaver. He was the most scorer of 2007-2008 Turkey Super Youth Tournament. 19 years old player scored 17 goals previous season. Our assistant manager Johan Neeskens watches him and reports his current status to Rijkaard. His primarily characteristics which can be noticeable at first-sight; creativity, technique and playing with both feet.
Recently, I have been working on my graduation project, about J&B parties. I am not going to talk about my project. But, I have seen some failings on projects of my classmates. We are visual commucation designers, and we have to think of conceptually on our designs. However, I saw that my classmates’s projects lack of concept. In addition, I could not see any aim on their projects. After that, I have been looking my arround, at both school and agency (Ogilvy) some new designers do similar mistakes. I thought that, this is an educational problem. Because, there are huge differences between erasmus students projects and turkish students projects. They think of their project’s concept, and design later. So, that is why they do more successful design than us. Therefore, we must change our art school educational system as soon as possible. Because it is not a successful system to educate perfect designers. For this reason, we see many copy and stolen advertisements.
Stevie Ray Vaughan was obviously one of the epochal guitar player in Blues&Rock world just after Jimi Hendrix. He played ordinary blues patters like his own creation through his unique and incredible guitar technique. At this point some of people my not agree with me and they may say “Blues is a ordinary music so SRV may be a good guitarist but he was doing same thing”. I don’t think so because when you listen some of his songs like Lenny, Riviera Paradise you’ll realise that these songs includes some of jazz pieces. On the other hand when you listen Crossfire or Tightrope then you can hear rock solos with pentatonic blues patterns. He played completely different from the other blues guitarists using the same patterns and that’s why I admire to him.

I have needed to change master page depending on the value which comes from QueryString in one of my ASP.Net project. I had to check the QueryString to choose MasterPageFile of the ASP.Net page according to my scenario. I wrote a little code to achieve this goal;

I’ve read an article about things are going to be deprecated in 50 years. I wanted to share list of these things.
By the way, there should be a self-criticism because I couldn’t imagine myself reading these type of “catchy things” short time ago. But It arouses curiosity due to relationship with future. (Also this curiosity comes from mixture of futurism and science-fiction culture and it makes an occasion :P) Nevertheless, It’s not the same thing with what Internet journalism do.

The premiere date for the Supernatural season 5 is 10 September 2009. Every season surprises us with new character additions, now we’re all waiting Lucifer’s arrival. In the meantime, we spend time with watching season 5 promos.
If you’re a watchful person, you might have noticed similarities between Lost’s and Supernatural’s season endings. Both of them flashed to “white” cast screen whereas their original episode endings are usually use black cast background. Another similar point is apocalypse metaphors. They created an ambition like the things will happen in coming seasons will be irrevocable for characters.
And the last one is Mark Pellegrino! The actor who introduced as “Jacob” in Lost, has been cast in Supernatural to play “Lucifer”.
I haven’t written any blog post about Arsenal for a long time even tough a transfer period has been passed. Actually, I haven’t found a space while trying to chase Galatasaray’s transfers including Leo Franco, Kader Keita and Elano Blumer. On the other hand, Varmaelen was the only remarkable transfer for Arsenal during the transfer window.
After Adebayor and Toure departure, Arsenal hasn’t replaced their place with experienced players. I haven’t read or heard other supporters’ thoughts about these players’ transfers but that reminds me of Henry’s leaving. I doubted that Wenger is preparing next youth project because things was going differently than I expected. Nevertheless, squad’s lack of experience isn’t the only thing that makes these two transfers “risky”. It has been made by Manchester City which claimed their season target as first five in ranking.
Despite negatives, Arsenal started the season with a stunning performance. The most genius tactical difference that I noticed, using Arshavin, RVP and Eduardo together in forward line. I think Song, Denilson and Diaby will find more chance in absence of injured Fàbregas and Nasri. Wilshere, Ramsey, Merida and Bendtner would be rotation players for now. I don’t want to talk about defense right now except for Varmaelen because I’ll watch and see. Varmaelen sprinted 90 meters to prevent Celtic’s counter-attack in champions league game which was ongoing 0-0. His will, pace and courage impressed me too much.
Season’s first defeat, Manchester United match had a controversial penalty and an own goal of Diaby. Also ManU supporters called Wenger as “paedopile”. I haven’t decided which was more shameful than others yet. By the way, I can’t understand why ManU supporters sell their chants about Arsene Wenger over the amazon.com. Who wants to buy it?
The stupidest thing I’ve read ever, according to guardian.co.uk, A Florida man blamed his cat for downloading child pornography by jumping on the keyboard. Upon the police’s discovery of 1000 images on the suspect’s hard drive, he claimed that his pet would be capable of surfing on the web.
Actually, I’m interested because I need my pets’ assistance for computer works. I can’t afford the human one. If he can prove his cat has some computer abilities at the court, I’m beginning to train my cats from now on.
I’ve been waiting for coming season of supernatural for a long time. As a fan of this demonic-hunting-drama, I heard some good news from latest comic-con. The series’ creator, Eric Kripke has made some declarations about Supernatural’s future.
He said: “There was a five-year plan and we are in the fifth year of that story. This is the last chapter of this volume and we plan on telling it well and climatically, but we are certainly also batting around ideas and there’s no reason there can’t be another volume.
There’s no reason another new epic story can’t begin. We’re not going to stretch this one out past its expiration, we’re not going to drag this one into a place it isn’t. We’re going to tell this one the way it’s supposed to be told, and it’s going to end, but another story can begin. And that’s what we’re preparing for and we’ll just sort of see how the season goes.
I’m going to cross that bridge when I get to it. I’m breaking episode six of the season. My head is so far away from season six that I honestly have no idea.
I’m very interested and anything can happen and we’ll see. I need to see how this season goes first.”
By the way, according to digitalspy.co.uk, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki had previously signed six-year contract deal. These signs show us, there’ll be another season for our favorite cult show.
My first disappointment about coming season, I hope it will be the last at the same time. While we’re watching relegated Newcastle United’s “yellow” jersey sales from the distance, Galatasaray surprised us with purple jersey. I dare say these jerseys are going to cause an outcry too.
We’ve visited Galatasaray Store tonight to take a closer look at them. The store staff informed us about sales, jersey advertisements and future products. And after that I began to consider that Alternative jersey isn’t the point indeed, because fans quickly got used to last season’s orange jersey as I remembered.
The point is, first two jerseys aren’t nearly good enough to satisfy people’s expectations. First of all, Gala haven’t produced the perfect remake of its classical jersey named “Metin Oktay Classic” and straight white jersey. Every season jerseys have some design, quality or advertisement problems in detail in spite of fans’ common ideas and guidance. I must say, I will regret to watch Galatasaray in those jerseys.
